De Ferri Metallographia as suggested by laffineur eric is a legacy product and rather pricey. If I'm not mistaken, a three volume series will set you back about $700.00. It deals with metallography of Iron, Steels and Cast irons. In case you are looking for a book for Carbon steels, I would highly recommend "Light Microscopy of Carbon Steels" by Leonard Samuels, published by ASM. Now, ASM handbook Volume 9, titled as "Metallography and Microstructures" recommended by laffineur eric is an excellent source for both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. On a final note, ASM also has "ASM Micrograpgh Center" on line. You have to subscribe to it to gain access. For details, contact ASM customer service at "asm international.org".
